I learned long ago not to get too excited about boards like this because for the most part, you never see them ever again, once they're inside the case. I've had standard boards in cases for years without hiccups. Just remember to send CLEAN power to your PSU. Use a high quality APC UPS, and your board and components will last forever.

Caps are cheap, but as long as they are made from porcelain or ceramic, you should not have an issue. MOSFET/transistors are not going to be much better if they are mil speced or not. The Engineering company I work for manufacturers military products that use these devices and none of our products use Mil-Std transistors in the design and they work fine.
