Companies like NBC, CBS, etc will probably continue to further develop the options to 'watch tv shows live on global, nbc, cbs, etc'. 'Watch your favorite shows, anytime you want instantly! ....*huge lenghty ads may interrupt shows periodically*'. Don't let the current administration fool you. There's so much corruption within the White House, Congress, the Senate and the newly appointed czars (who wield more power than Congress & the Senate, since they don't rely on constituent votes, etc), that you can bet this would be allowed and that this has been planned. In fact, there's been so much news surrounding GE's and NBC's relationship with the current administration, that you can bet they want to appear that they're distancing themselves. Sounds conspiratorial, but this is exactly what they want, in order to exact a more "fair" doctrine concerning the media.
