So, two USB ports. Problem is, it doesn't treat these as NAS expansion ports - NAS is limited to the one 2.5" drive slot - sorry, no 2GB 3.5" drive for you, either internal or external. The USB ports are for "SharePort", where a USB port can only be used by a single computer at a time. Granted, that gives flexibility of devices - the device doesn't need to support networkability, and the router doesn't need to support the specific device, since the computer just sees a local USB device. Sure, you can use USB storage, but it will be seen as directly-connected to one computer at a time; you won't be using the USB drive as your household media server.

This unit has other features too. This would make a great replacement for my Airport Extreme (which is starting to fail) but I might as well put this right on the door of my data closet instead of hiding it on top of a bookshelf.

Also lots of reviews have complained about the fan noise.
