I've said in the past that I wouldn't buy a netbook until it filled more than one niche. I'd want it to be (1) a convertible tablet and (2) powered by an ION or comparable chipset. I really wanted tablet functionality in my current laptop but wasn't willing to shell out the $1500 for the Toshiba, or take my chances with the poorly-reviewed HP tz2whatever, both of which would have involved considerable compromises in battery life, which was also really important for me.
