How many jobs and negative impact do you want to bet happens when Dell completely dies?

This is the proper course of capitalism. What would accelerate the collapse of the dollar is if Dell got a bailout, financed by the Federal Reserve and their "money out of nothing" runaway inflation. The dollar WILL collapse at its current rate. That is not in doubt. Government intervention and the Fed continues to damage the market and supposedly the solution that is sold to us is to increase the amount of intervention and the amount of power the Fed has, even though no one really knows how they do what they do. We could've been out of the recession by now and recovering had we allowed bad assets and malinvestments to liquidate according to the natural forces of the market. But nope, the government chooses to continue to attempt to delay the inevitable by printing more and more. It is unsustainable, and is why we are so poor. Inflation and the Fed gives to the rich, and steals from the poor. The sooner people understand that, the better. But I fear it will be too late by the time enough people catch on.

It's not hard to imagine why American industry and production have become so weak. The "solution" that people keep clamoring for is really just an acceleration of this negative trend.

paul34

Comments on

I think the words "desktop production facility " explain the cuts.
