I would be most grateful if you could answer them. The questions are as follow:

1. are you still building this camera, or it has been discontinued?
2. I bought my camera in Bristol, England in 1975. At the time I could provide "closeup" and "wide angle" lenses, but could not get any telephoto lens for this camera. Do you provide this lens?
3.If the answers to above questions are positive, I desperately need it. I would be thankful if you could inform me the conditions for buying the telephoto lens for Yashica electro 35 GTN in Iran. I will accept your conditions and pay you according to your regulations.

Yours sincerely, N.Razvizadeh

nezamrazavizadeh

Comments on Yashica debuts EZ F521 digicam / webcam / snoozefest

I pre-ordered one from here: http://www.japanexposures.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=349

Hopefully navigating the menus in Japanese isn't too daunting and that I don't format my SD card by accident.

Rob

Comments on Yashica debuts EZ F521 digicam / webcam / snoozefest

Does anyone know if you can put a fisheye adapter on this camera? Basically I'm looking for a digital version of the Lomography Fisheye camera and am hoping there is an adapter out there that'll work with this Yashica. Or if anyone can recommend any cheap alternative? Any help would be tremendously appreciated (and would save me a lot of money). Thanks.

Chung

Comments on Yashica debuts EZ F521 digicam / webcam / snoozefest

I think the idea of a digital Holga/Lomo/toycamera/crapcam is pretty good and should be viable economically, considering how much people spend on the original toy cameras.

It could have been made much more compact though, and the lens should have been more crappy. Some built in film emulation/digital crappifyers would have been nice. Like that Chase Jarvis app for the iphone, but as shooting modes, not post-processing. That would make the images much more interesting and bring back some of that uncontrolled randomness that made toy cameras big sellers.

idea: 8
execution 5

David
