Think about what Balmer said in his interview not long ago, where he was talking about small markets and big markets. Basically it's Linux (under the name of Android) threatening Windows (Mobile) business model yet again.<br><br>Microsoft favorite business is selling software _wholesale_ to hardware manufacturers. Manufacturers would rather not pay the "Microsoft tax" but Windows is what people expect of the computers they buy, because they're used to it. But when you look at the mobile space, most people have no preference and are willing to use something other than Windows.<br><br>Microsoft doesn't sell smartphones, and Apple doesn't provide a mobile OS wholesale to manufacturers.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[Pies]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Oct 10th 2009 12:30AM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
