The top model supports geocaching, and lower models you can buy it as a subscription. Just pick any WinMo or Symbian phone that supports ad-hoc Wi-Fi, use the Pro card, and you're all set. Direct control!<br><br>I do not want to have to use special software that connects to their server.  I either want to directly WiFi my pics to my laptop, or through my home LAN, or to my home's IP directly via an open WiFi hotspot.<br><br>I hate these devices that are locked to a "service provider" Because if the company goes under, you now have a really expensive SD card.<br>I have purchased too many service based devices that suddenly stopped working because the company died.
