I get the portability factor of it all. And I reaaaalllllyyyy want one. But I'll have a hard time justifying the price if it creeps into the $500 or $600 range.

I'm use to tech being outdated quickly but this is close to pre-outdating.

I guess i do take consolation in the fact that i'm happy with mine, and that it will (hopefully) have cost

From what I have read about this is that the 2gb limit is because of the current XP operating system limitations.
