If they shoved a full-sized 2ghz Core 2 Duo in there, it would no longer fulfill its purpose as an ultra-slim, power-saving laptop. The price is definitely above the performance level, but at 3 digits it still destroys the Macbook Air.

aznofazns

Comments on MSI's 14-inch X-Slim X400 now shipping in the US of A

first

Hgaara

Comments on MSI's 14-inch X-Slim X400 now shipping in the US of A

...to completely fade away into nonexistence from the comments section

all things considered

Comments on MSI's 14-inch X-Slim X400 now shipping in the US of A

Ha ha, epic fail!

Luke D

Comments on MSI's 14-inch X-Slim X400 now shipping in the US of A

@ Hgaara, repeat after me.. I saw the 15" model here last week and the specs are slightly meatier though slightly more expensive. I think a CULV Core 2 Duo, 4 GB of RAM, 320 GB hard drive, Mobility Radeon HD 4330, 6 cell battery, HDMI, 2x USB, eSATA, VGA, and a card reader is fair enough for 45K Php (roughly $850). I also saw the Atom model. 13.3", 2 GB RAM, Intel 4500MHD, 250 GB, card reader, VGA, no HDMI and eSATA but there are 3 USB ports. I think it's fair for 25K Php (roughly $450). It really does look like a MacBook Air knock-off though since it's 13.3". Just get the Apple sticker that comes with an iPod and paste it over the 'MSI' logo on the laptop's lid.

Schfelzerberg

Comments on MSI's 14-inch X-Slim X400 now shipping in the US of A

$800 For a Netbook?
