Why does that matter? Once you are out of wireless range it can't link up anyway. When I am in the house would rather boot up the machine and watch my content on the TV. it matters to people who like Sony products and are interested in a PMP phone and you own a PS3. It's called cross platform integration.

Like me, I have a Mac Pro and an iPhone. The iPhone didn't originally have the remote app to link up to my iTunes library to use the phone as a remote through my WiFi network. Once the app came out, I found another great use for my PHONE. It's just useless feature if you don't use iTunes or have a WiFi but awesome if you do. The Satio, also just out, is a beast - absolutely huge. Looks nice but I've heard the real-time use doesn't match the impressive spec sheet, and thus it runs a bit slow.

More on topic, as I don't have a PS3 I'm not really interested in the Aino, but then it's not targeted at me. Meanwhile in another relevant area called the rest of the world, the quality of their camera-phones are bar none. Among the first to introduce 8 and 12MP cameras.

In fact, over the past 2 years since Sony "died", they have sold over 220 million phones. They only have to worry about marketshare. Which obviously, SE isn't winning in.

SE phones fail a lot when it comes to connectivity. They insist on their proprietary connectors for headphones and their own memory cards. There are like 3 out of all of their phones which have a 3.5mm jack and microSD.
