There is no image stabilization on most of them and burning them to DVD is a pain. They also don't work that well in low light. In short , they are toys. Fun and useful toys, but still just a toy. If you want a camcorder for quality family videos or your kids sports events, then you need to get a real camcorder. Bur for the price , these are all good for online video blogging  and social networking etc. This one looks as good as any of them.
