But Sony does allow up to 5 simultaneously activated devices, so you can lend your games - and in fact, have more then one of your digital downloads on more then one device simultaneously.  You can also re-download a game an unlimited number of times once you purchased it.<br><br>Much like how you can 'share' games on your PS3. In fact, my brother, a friend, and me share the same PSN-downloaded PSP games on three different machines.  We also share PS3 games as well- we have an US & EU account- its great to share out-of-region games.  One purchase on three machines.<br><br>Its perfectly fair.  It allows for a little abuse, but I wouldn't be giving the password to my account to people I don't trust.  And this flexibility is the reason I buy into these digital downloads.  It also makes sense since even if you upgrade from a PSP to a newer model (like the Go) you will have two PSPs, and you will need to play games on both.<br><br>And yeah, theoretically, I guess you could also sell your games and your account, because I've seen people do it online. You can have the license active on up to 5 devices that you own. But, as with any software, you are only purchasing 1 (one) license, not 5 individual licenses. You can use that software. But not your friend or family, of course, unless you own the devices and you are "sharing" the devices themselves.<br><br>And yes, PSN accounts have been blocked or suspended. Its an abuse of the system, Sony obviously knows about this.  NeoGaf, a site that a lot of developers go to, has a huge thread on this and I'm sure they've read it.<br><a href="http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=135624" rel="nofollow">http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=135624</a><br><br>Only time they will suspend you is if you have everyone constantly logging-in at the same time on the same account, you'll get a warning first and the first time they'll only suspend you for a day.  And this is only an issue for the PS3, where you would log-in frequently, for the PSP you only log-in to access the PSN store (or not at all if you download via the PC). For the PS3, you only need to download the game, you can play it using another account on the same machine.<br><br>But they seem to be pretty flexible on the whole concept and they aren't draconian on their enforcement.  I'm sure its an attempt to calm the mouth-breathing skeptics of digital-distribution like Cannon Fodder. By keeping format proprietary, they have ensured that it would remain expensive. Needless to mention that it also taxed PSP battery.<br><br>With PSP Go, I'd argue that they have NOT removed UMD. OK, device doesn't have drive nor you have to buy disks anymore. But the Sony offered zero, zilch, nada as a replacement for UMD. PSP Go owners buy the very same games - with only physical media removed from the equation. Worst: they still cost the same despite having lost the media.<br><br>Sony should have done it properly by offering a clear upgrade path for the old PSP model owners. (Like in "being responsible for your past mistakes".) They should have also done something to keep second hand market ticking: with all the DRM PSP always had I'm pretty sure it is possible. (E.g. something like StarDock was proposing recently in the news, where publishers set the price for the S/H games and sale of game to somebody else is a license transfer from one customer to another.) <br><br>Even simple DD game exchange would have changed drastically PSP Go reception. And the UMD movies were more expensive than DVD's. Now that the costs are down and the format has utterly failed the price is perfect for the average consumer and Sony has raised the battery life of their PSP with new versions so the PSP Go is a worthless device. I think it's the perfect size and the old PSP is too big.  I also think it's great for people who don't already own many UMDs or are new to PSPs entirely.  Having all your games downloaded is kickass for people who never sell or trade games (that's actually a hell of a lot of folks who are underrepresented on tech blogs).  <br><br>I won't buy this just because the stick is in the wrong place IMO, but it's not a problem in my eyes that a new tech item that is really slick is overpriced... that's kinda the Sony way, after all. What I don't love is the need to rebuy...well everything.  I have a huge problem with having to rebuy games that I already own (even assuming they become available for download).
