It is amazing to see young women walking with their friends and no one is talking. Although they are walking together, each is texting someone. I have seen people go out on dates, and instead of talking they text away. On the other hand, this is more evidence that cell phone companies should re-think themselves as merely data service providers and not as voice service providers. Voice and dialing are just one more application. The cell phone already has an IMEI. It does not need a phone number. That can be provided by Skype or Google Voice. It is time for a seperation between the data service and the cell phones themselves.

Dr. Yusuf Al-Kindi

Comments on Samsung develops first chip for US mobile digital TV transmission, provides no release date

i hope the next ipod touch has this, or a psp add on, whoever is 1st that what ill buy

kb8618

Comments on Samsung develops first chip for US mobile digital TV transmission, provides no release date

Samsung was first because they were essentially using the South Korean digital television standard in the US.
