Cool...I remember wanting an MPIO mp3 player back when iPod was still scratching its daddy's pants. They had awesome designs, form factors and at pretty reasonable prices. I never did buy one though, couldn't get it at local retailers but only through online purchase. I settled for a Sandisk e130 because it had an SD card slot on it. Too bad it could only use a capacity of 4GB though. I since "upgraded" 'er downgraded to a Creative Zen 8GB - this time the SDHC slot is not/will never be integrated. Why can't one company make a decent SDHC card based MP3 player with integrated music/file database? MPIO, are you listening? I would come full circle and buy it in a heart beat!

chaosdivine

Comments on MPIO V7 PMP hits October 26th, 2009, we struggle to contain ourselves

I doubt they would give you a database. MPIO players have typically eschewed ID3 databasing for file/folder structure. However, that does not mean they won't include it in the future (or this product).

ritarded09

Comments on MPIO V7 PMP hits October 26th, 2009, we struggle to contain ourselves

@chaosdivine: You're describing something that exists long time ago: COWON D2 or its latest incarnation: COWON D2+.
