When I heard they were releasing a 1420 and 1820 version of the tablet, I was worried the US would only get the lower version with single core processor and smaller 4400mAh battery.  The 1420 version looks like the one for me, the SU2300 processor is very close in benchmarks to the higher processors, and can play Youtube HD virtually lag free while prolonging the battery.  It seems that the 1420 version is getting the bigger 5600mAh battery, too, which should be good for almost 8 hours.  I've been holding off on the tablet kick, but it seems that multi-touch and W7 could finally make it useful. Hopefully this all means there are upgrade options up to a Core 2 Duo. Ignore the name, it's basically a stripped down ULV Core 2 Duo with less cache.
