I was holding off on getting the current Adamo when i saw the advertisements for adamo xps. After seeing the full body design i think i might pass on this. Some of the reason for me would be, it doesn't make any sense to have an unconventional design for a light weight laptop. If i am not mistaken, would most of the people on the go prefer to use such laptops as this to be on their laps? Currently I have a Samsung X360, for me the drawback if i were to get the adamo xps would be using it on bed. a light laptop as this is perfect for sitting in bed. It would seem difficult for anyone to use the adamo xps on the bed. Another factor would be the cost. $2000 does seem quite a bit of money in this time and age. Some of the better notebooks out there, which might not look entirely as good as this one but are very light cost way less than this. My laptop reasoning would be, like darklar mention, it seem it might just flex itself into a broken position. I can really see this happening.

Totalfixation

Comments on Dell's Adamo 'crazyhinge' XPS demonstrated on video

It also looks like it would be pretty uncomfortable to actually use while sitting in your lap.... There are too many times to count when we've all been disappointed with how bland or boring some laptops can be. I mean, this isn't exactly a mainstream, high-volume product they're putting out. It'll be a niche thing, and that's fine. It's real strength is how now everyone is talking about it, positive or negative.
