i personally don't see the sense in having a call button on the screen when there's a hard button underneath it that does the same thing?!
same goes with the add button - are long press and menu/add not enough options?

I have also a N97 and an HTC TouchHD (my HD2 should arrive nov 1st) and have had iPhone 3GS and Samsung Omnia (i900) but I think Android is by far the best OS, as long as it's paired with SenseUI and as long as all the fabolous free apps on Android market remain free.
Talking of which: in the pics I can see that this version of Android has been slightly changed Improved?), and I wonder if european phones will be given the possibility to update too.
The only thing that the Hero misses to be a perfect smartphone is voice dialing and a sscreen big enough to be used for sat nav while driving; and these are also the reasons why I preordered the HD2 and why I hope that the Sholes will reach the european shores.

1) Android 1.6 is called Donut and it's already been released and pushed out to most devices running stock Android (both G1 and Magic have had the update for over a month in the US)

2) Android has built-in Voice Dialing, you just hold down the Call button for five seconds and it pops up.

3) I've been using my HTC Magic as my primary satnav device for several months now and the screen is plenty big enough.
