Then just download appworld from the apploader in desktop manager and download any extra programs (i.e. BBM 5.0, etc). This should do the trick for the afore mentioned issues

EGab23

Comments on Verizon Storm2 on October 28th, BlackBerry OS 5.0 for original Storm out now

I'm going to be switching to Telus next month and was trying to figure out what to go with. After finding out that they are giving away the Storm with contract and asking for $200 bucks for Storm2 with contract all I wanted to know is how well did this Update I've heard about work out? I'm so excited now... I've read reviews and watched videos of the bb OS 5.0.0... Can't see why anyone would spend the extra 200 bucks on Storm2. I NEVER used WiFi on my HTC Touch Diamond and from my experiences with the SurePress on friends' Storms, it's actually pretty sweet. The SurePress seems like a "love it or hate it thing". I can't believe I'm this excited about getting a phone that's been out for over a year... Maybe it's just because it's free. I don't know.

Logan
