This thing is a turkey with no wings. It's HORRIBLE.

I tried a demo at a local Best Buy. It was such a disjointed experience, to say the least. This game is just not intuitive. It lacks the pick up and play fun of the original Guitar Hero.

A big key to mash-ups that any mash-up DJ will tell you is... Key. If two songs don't match in key, then they sound sucky together. The angle made my wrist hurt after a short while. Definitely carpel tunnel potential though that is true with any music game. My finger muscles used to hurt in Guitar Hero but this is wrist bone...a little different.

Some of the music is gaudy but I guess that's inevitable. I don't expect much from the online store since the Guitar Hero franchise hasn't done much in that aspect either. These mash-ups complicate things even further with both licensing and pricing.

If Harmonix, the creators of the original Guitar Hero and Rock Band games try their hand at this, I may give it a second look. For now...I'm not paying $120 for this. That is pretty cool but I wouldn't want to have to play it that much just to enjoy it to the fullest you know what I mean? I would have enjoyed some resistance so I could get some kind of tactile feedback when scratching. On actual turntables you get SOME resistance when you press down on the table. This feels very slick.

I don't know.
