I don't think $2 Million dollars for a car who's 2nd gear is the high end of 100 mph and goes from 0 - 60 in less than 4 seconds, topping out at 255mph is overpriced.
Only thing that gets me about the Veyron is, I'd expect it to have a HUD and a Navigation system for that price.

Actually if you were able to order a Veyron and get delivery of a new one, it was more like $1.3 million or so. And it goes from 0-60 in less than 3 seconds, far quicker than 4.

The 250+mph is a bit of a tall order though.

Of course, as a race car it's a bit stupid, there are better choices. To me, the Veyron is a bit like the Concorde.
