The person seems to be using a graphics card from neanderthal age. The camera is in a fixed position, and there's no way to know how far away the person will be from the screen. It could be a few inches if you're touching it, or 8 feet if you're using a mouse on the other side of the room. It effectively locates a simple camera in the top 2 corners and triangulates touch position based on how light launched from the perimeter is blocked.
