To me at least, it seems the reception has been positive. I know there are issues with the camera, but the headline makes it seem that there was at least one bad review out there.

Personally, these reviews have made me think twice about buying a DSC-WX1 and getting this instead. Imaging Resource, which is probably the most legitimate and thoroughly-technically tested review in this bunch gave this camera an excellent reception. And they actually did ISO, noise, color, dynamic range tests.

I agree about the fiddly touchscreen-on mine, I find it a bit hard to control sometimes, but overall the touchscreen is great.


I'm just reading one of the DSC-TX1 reviews-makes me think of the DSC-TX1 as being a quite nice camera.
