LTE is entirely IP based anyway so they had to use some type of VoIP-style system.  Also mentioned in the article was that they could offer the same exact voice services over broadband "wireline" networks.  I would imagine that in practice, IMS phones will be able to switch to wi-fi backhaul just like current UMA handsets do.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[kballs]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Nov 4th 2009 9:31PM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
