BlackBerry Curve 8530 now official on Sprint

As we revealed this morning, the BlackBerry Curve 8530 -- a CDMA remix of the 8520 now available on T-Mobile -- is coming to Sprint to do battle with its Verizon-branded cousin. Unlike Verizon, which promises a November 20 launch for $99.99 on contract after rebate, Sprint isn't revealing pricing or availability details for the low-end BlackBerry -- but naturally, if they're smart, the answers will be "cheap" and "soon," respectively.

It also doesn't have any of the gay or smug the iphone has. Note that I refuse to capitolize the 2nd letter of any mac product name anymore. Its either the iphone or the Iphone in my book. Also until the Iphone supports native multitasking without jailbreaking its also not a smartphone in my opinion, its the fanciest dumbphone with the most apps in the world.

I think the more important question is where is the hell is the "Atlas?" It was basically a CDMA 8900 with the trackpad. This 8530 looks too cheap and plasticky.
