Why would Verizon even release these Androids if they had five to seven pages of known problems with the hardware and firmware?

I think the Droid has to go back for a refund until I know for sure it has been fixed for real. I don't want another one that may still have the speaker problem and all the rest of the issues including a totally unacceptable keyboard. I have an Eris and for the most part I'm happy, though it seems the primary function a.k.a. being a phone is the part that I have the most trouble with. It seems like the OS goes into 'slow enough to watch the grass grow' mode whenever I pull up the phone screen which results in a LOT of misdials, and pressing 'End' never registers until about 2 rings into the call no matter how fast I hit it. I hate to say it, but this has resulted in crank calls to Pizza Hut, and the local County Government Building very recently. :-/]]>Nov 17th 2009 2:42PM
