I Have the 40" version of the Beovision 7 and there Beo lab 3 + Lab 2 surround sound system, and on its own it is good and produces a very good picture, looks like a piece of art and its one hell of a talking point. However when you add in other Bang and Olufsen products along with home automation, this is where there products come to life and for example when you have multi-room audio and video, and when you watch a movie the lights can dim, blinds close and doors close, to create a full cinematic experience, have a look at the new alarm clock same principle, it interacts with the other products http://www.engadget.com/2009/07/15/bang-and-olufsens-beotime-alarm-clock-remote-favors-a-flute/

Charles

Comments on Bang & Olufsen's BeoVision 7 LCD grows to 55-inches, makes room for Blu-ray not frugality

Dear Charles

You are living in a dream world.

peterjohndean1

Comments on Bang & Olufsen's BeoVision 7 LCD grows to 55-inches, makes room for Blu-ray not frugality

Sounds great! Ive found sharp parts in my last b and o and have watch the gulf relatively speaking of the cost of other tvs compared to b and o, they used to be housed in proper wood cabinets and the last one i had i think it was a 8802 was good, but then after 17 years in 2003 i went to see about a new one and could not beleive the price, I could of bought a rolex daytona cosmograph for the same price and it would last be a lifetime, so please never compare a watch or the rolex caliber to a tv, it doesnt compute.

yorkshireman

Comments on Bang & Olufsen's BeoVision 7 LCD grows to 55-inches, makes room for Blu-ray not frugality

Ugh ugly.

Sutekh

Comments on Bang & Olufsen's BeoVision 7 LCD grows to 55-inches, makes room for Blu-ray not frugality

Apple could make this for $3k and all of you would be in here screaming bloody murder.
