It was my first Razer mouse going from a long history of Logitechs, and I wasn't disappointed.

I did pick up the Naga as well for MMOs and some RPGs (handy in Dragon Age), and I was a little skeptical at first, but after a few days of use, I feel right at home...I'm lost in Aion without it. I have fairly large fingers and hands, and I still have no trouble hitting the thumb button I want. The 2nd and 4th row have a ridge, and the curved side separates the three buttons well. I was disappointed with the smaller feel in my hand, but realized that is so it tilts your hand to make the thumb buttons easier to press. The only thing I don't like is the damn cord. Ugh.

Kamokazi

Comments on Razer gets back to basics with $50 Abyssus gaming mouse

The Salmosa is the most vanilla mouse Razer's put out. So in real terms this is going down a bit, to $40 I think. The 3200dpi Logitech G9 (original) is going for ~$50 but it does come with exchangeable grips. This Razer has more subdued styling, so if you want a "stealth" gaming mouse this almost works... except the glowing LED kinds of ruins that too.

Ypoknons

Comments on Razer gets back to basics with $50 Abyssus gaming mouse

Ooops sorry $60 for the Lachesis. typo

Ypoknons

Comments on Razer gets back to basics with $50 Abyssus gaming mouse

I'm pretty sure woot had something similar to this for ridiculously cheap the other day.

Devin

Comments on Razer gets back to basics with $50 Abyssus gaming mouse

Yeah, they had the Salmosa for $13.37 + $5 shipping.
