I have no idea what it costs to produce it and recoup R&D costs...just saying what I'd pay for something like this. It doesn't fill a huge gap in my life by any means...I think I could find some cool stuff to do with it, it might come in handy for impromptu meetings or something...but something that serves that purpose is going to have to work really hard to break the $100 spending barrier for me...

hexydes

Comments on WowWee Cinemin Swivel pico projector shocker: available now!

I want to see the first results of someone hacking it to improve the lumens. Seriously? You think these projectors are like a turbocharged car where you can just remove the actuator valve and crank up the boost? Or like a flashlight where you can just overdrive the LED by adding some more volts? I took some EE classes in college and I'm going to go with it's not that simple since the LED is probably pulsed and you'd probably have to mess with the control chip for the DLP....

rtype02

Comments on WowWee Cinemin Swivel pico projector shocker: available now!

This is awesome - I'll buy a bunch of those, as soon as they set me back no more than $39.95, as toys for kids and just having them around house.
