Hey, it's Friday, and the Engadget Podcast crew is ready to blow out the week in news live -- and not only is there tech news to talk about, but we've got a hot new site to call home. It's all going down at 6:15PM EST right now!
Yea I have to agree I love the overall new site design but I really dislike the font.
I mean you guys have seen "Helvetica" right? Stylized and serifed fonts are great for...well...style, but not so much for readability.
It's kind of silly that a lot of the sections (like the Most Commented one on the right) have titles written in fonts that are easier to read than the actual content. The opposite would make more sense imo...
I found a "fix" for now... "Cleangadget" script for Firefox http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/62407 Unfortunately this just adds more scripting, which means it runs poorly on my laptop, but at least my desktop experience is readable.
I'd rather read the blog, ads and all, as is... but Times is tough on my eyes.
I understand you all are busy but it's not so cool to leave us here waiting on the podcast. You always do the LiveStream Thursday. Yet out of no where you do it on Friday. I feel like if you miss the LiveStream your screwed from hearing the podcast for days after. New website so make podcasts just as important as before.
Yes, a podcast at this point that was recorded days ago might be nice. Also as far as I know, you can also record and offer for later viewing the video presented on LiveStream. So nearly as I can tell, you have two options for offering the podcast after the live recording, neither of which you are using in a timely fashion. At this point, I'd rather you gave up the live cast altogether as it seemed that we actually were given a recorded version of the podcast in a timely fashion when it did not exist, sometimes even on a Friday.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
.
Period.
first!
.. You were second, so sorry.
Get rid of the Times New Roman already!
Hell yea--definitely what I've been saying
Yeah.. sans-serif fonts always look better!
Nope. Also, verify (and pick) your username by logging out and then back in, or the account will go on our delete list. Thanks!
Stuck using Google Reader or Giz,I guess then... really can't take the serif font.

Sorry for the rant.
What happened to this Podcast - It's the 22nd, and the podcast hasn't made it up on the web!
Down with this sort of thing!!
Where is our podcast ?
@RianOC I suppose they first have to un-ruin the RSS feeds - after un-ruining the reply postings (microscopic serif fonts? WTF indeed).

Did they even mention the HD2 Review and why it still hasn't been posted???
I loved the rant on Google Maps. I've been sent to the wrong location several times. Not to mention being told to turn onto one-way streets.
My favorite was when I ended up in someones driveway when trying to go to Buffalo Wild Wings.
@cwhitmore In a nearby city, Gmap suggests using a road going though a flood diversion canal BUILT IN THE 1980s.
