haha i remember that photo being taken on Toronto's Waterfront.
its cool that the netbook came to the US.... but thats alot of money for a netbook and on a contract.
but i'm canadian... i should be used to telecomm companies pwning my face with 3yr contracts :P
That's not the Toronto waterfront. I can't recognize where it is, but the writer of the original review lives in New Brunswick.
$180? Really? Free, or just buy a separate one for just a bit more. This "fake" subsidy from US wireless carriers really annoy me.
They haven't fixed their network and they are still offering internet services? Screw off at&t
Wait, does it come with a Dunkies coffee? Because then I'm in.
agree, and kudos on the really, really poorly photoshop'd dunkin coffee :P
Didn't you already get enough of AT&T?
Mm. I could go for a Dunkin Donuts coffee right about now....
Anywho, I would consider something like this but unfortunately I am locked in with T-Mobile, and if offered I know the data cap would still apply.
I hear lot of Americans are complain about network incapability of the AT&T. I think these companies are doing some dirty business with them. Customers should avoid these companies. Then only the corporate idiots start to think what people really wants.
thought it was a fat dude's netbook with the coffe and then i see the crappy photoshop work with the cup and the flag.
2yr Contract on a product that wont last a quarter of that. Lame.
I baby the hell out of my stuff. But of the 3 LG products I've owned in the past, the longest one of their products lasted was 3 months.
Why is it that carriers can offer us $500 phones for $100 on a 2 year contract but can't offer us $300 netbooks for the same price or even free on the same contract?
Now if I could get an $800 laptop with decent specs (core2duo, nvidia 9400m, HDMI, 13-15" screen, 320+GB HD) for $200 on a two year wireless contract, I might jump at that. But not for a crappy netbook.
That picture blow. Dunkin ain't no Tim Horton, please undo that photoshop and nobody get hurt.
someone at engadget is reaaaaaaaaaaallly good at photoshop ;)
Does it come with the sub-standard coffee and filthy college-esque backpack?
Yes, but you can order the Canadian edition with a delicious Tim's double-double at amazon .ca
$1,619.99 That's what I got from the top of my head.
Too bad its no the LG X100 coming here at that price, that would have been awesome.
