Of course I would love to go back to my 61" 1080p 120hz Samsung but the jump from SD to HD in video games is not as bad as the jump in movies. Now the jump from Stereo to 7.1 was hugggee for me and thats a different story lol

poematik14

Comments on Wii pay-per-view programming introduced in Japan

For those who don't know, Pocket Monsters == Pokemon.

Bryant

Comments on Wii pay-per-view programming introduced in Japan

really? it's just so absolutely difficult to put 1 and 1 together (in this case, half and half) that people couldn't figure out Pocket and Monster can form into a single word that represented a massive world wide craze that is still going on from the day of its conception to present day.
*sarcasm*

mikethevee

Comments on Wii pay-per-view programming introduced in Japan

Don't be such a dick.

GingerFox

Comments on Wii pay-per-view programming introduced in Japan

Sorry, I'm not a fan of Captain Obvious and his minions.

mikethevee

Comments on Wii pay-per-view programming introduced in Japan

The things up for "rental" on this are SD to begin with. One that managed to keep better traction than the Playstation 3 with it's plethora of better multimedia features. Now look! turns out the wii was a trojan horse and Nintendo is slowly taking up the apple approach. Now that it will be cheaper to stuff HD into the console and resell it. Before it would of cost more and placed it closer to the Xbox 360 in price, making the price advantage almost nullified. Of course the Xbox would still not of sold more in Japan but then that's another story all together. The high sales, I believe, can also be attributed to people who grew up on Nintendo, now busy living busy adult lives and just want to casually indulge in some remixes of simple gaming classics. Now they are pushing this to people who don't have time for T.V or games, which makes perfect sense because the Wii's game library isn't exactly incredible. You can now order T.V on demand when you get bored of the games.

Shaka

Comments on Wii pay-per-view programming introduced in Japan

I already have a room to wii in.

Noswal

Comments on Wii pay-per-view programming introduced in Japan

have any of you SEEN hulu or netflix on the wii?
