Nook is blowing folks away with this pre-order buzz. It's just SO consumer friendly. Even with Oprah's help the Kindle didn't create THIS much buzz. They must go BIG or go home this coming Spring & give us a SEXY design, UI improvements, & a lil splash of color SOMEWHERE (screen perhaps or back). I WANT the Kindle to continue its success & currently I'm holding out until I see some complete reviews on the Nook.

Tuan X

Comments on Amazon promises update to better 'organize Kindle libraries'

@Tuan X Not so sure about the Nook being so much more popular, but I *am* sure that the last thing the Kindle needs is a new model every handful of months. One really nice revamp might fine, but the thing keeping me from buying a Kindle is the fact that it seems sure to be replaced by something better in such a short time. That would be fine, if I could get the assurance that the old model would still be maintained with firmware updates and such to add the latest features in (a la the Zune, before Microsoft also decided to end that after releasing the Zune HD :\).

I know this can be said about practically any piece of technology, but it just seems worse with such a device as a book reader, and especially one that just costs so damn much.

KupoCheer

Comments on Amazon promises update to better 'organize Kindle libraries'

agree

Tuan X

Comments on Amazon promises update to better 'organize Kindle libraries'

does nook support txt?

siva

Comments on Amazon promises update to better 'organize Kindle libraries'

Is there an online book store that is DRM free? Love my Kindle, but hate the organizational structure.
