Your other choice is to use PS3 Media Server, which will convert on the fly. This works, but don't try to rewind!

"look at how bad the music business is now" - what are you talking about you nutter? P2P has affected the music industry how?

I know there is always someone coming up with stats that fight for piracy but one I've hard and believe is that the film business is actually benefiting from P2P movie downloads as a large proportion of people who download will then actually go and see the movie at the cinema and even buy the DVD/BluRay which they would never have done if they hadn't been able to download and watch it in the first place!

Supporting films, music and such through legitimate channels are the ONLY way you are supporting.

no that doesn't mean i stole the album, but ill buy a ticket when they come to town works. sorry, but i just don't buy that the music business is at fault. they have put the stuff up now legitimately, artists are actually getting fairer deals... so... time now to own up and stop stealing.

maybe the only way people will do the right thing is by being treatened by losing their broadband with a 3 strikes and you lose it type of situation. ie Sweden and soon France.
