Someone should compare both machines in a review. It seems like they both have their pros and cons. The Lacie has Wifi and is an all in one box but lacks some output features. Lacie makes junk. Search for lacie failure and be prepared to read thousands (tens of thousands?) of stories about failures JUST after the one year warranty is up. Usually this is due to expiring circuit boards.
