I actually believe one of Wino's few advantages is the fact that there are so many different form factors to chose from. Winmo's problems are more due to Microsoft's failure to keep up with the modern smartphone OS's. Microsoft have just been using the same old $hit for so long, that is why winmo has to be hidden behind a manufacturers ui to be useable.

Instead perhaps companies could concentrate on sending out phones that are unlocked from the factory and while they are at it, force “All” carriers to use SIM card phones.

C'mon HTC, give us something to lust after. Even if it isn't as big as the HD2, and give it a dedicated camera button and don't let the camera lens stick out like HD2's or have its problems with pink coloring in the middle of photos.
