The decimal system is different in the rest of the world. The united states is the only place that uses 1.3 to mean 1 and 3 Tenths. All this code development is extremely portable to and from the iPhone OS to Mac OS X desktop/server. Any desktop/server technology innovations and development is being quickly ported to the iPhone, such as Spotlight (real-time, universal indexed search), graphics/animation compositing engines (superior graphics performance), audio/video frameworks, etc.
