The price is nice. And the small form factor is awesome. But anything over 10", you might as well get a CULV based notebook.

http://www.engadget.com/tag/CULV/

R

Comments on

eee pc are well suited to the operating system ubuntu netbook remix...
http://www.pdfcontent.com/pdf/operating-system-aplication-softwre/linux

agusadhi

Comments on

"The catch here is Windows XP"

You mean the advantage? I'm highly impressed with ASUS as a company and I'm planning on picking up the UL30VT sometime in January, but I'm in a jam and i need to pick up a inexpensive laptop today. I have maybe a few hours of research then i need to bite the bullet and go buy something. Out of all the stores I have near me (target, walmart, best buy, and micro center) None have anything Decent in the $300 price range, and then I just came across this. I'm not even considering HP or ACER but its a toss up between this and the Dell Mini 311... What do you guys think? Price range is roughly $300-$375. Need it only for remote access of my desktop pc and to access the internet.

Certifiedfryguy

Comments on

@Certifiedfryguy I meant I'm not considering dell or Acer but it's a tossup of this or the HP Mini 311...
