When i was thinking of getting either the tilt or wait for the fuze, i asked the guy what people thought of the tilt and he told me that he got alot of insurance replacements on these phones due to its weakness at the tilt. I thought it was an isolated incident in one area, but after going to roughly 5 other stores, they all say the same thing.
I don't think the tilt 2 will improve upon that since the concept is that the more moveable hinges you have on an object, the more vulnerable it will become.

that and I think it's ridiculous to try to type on the phone when it's tilted, unless you want to poke your phone to death. The things I've said, are as metioned earlier, anecdotes from the sales associates themselves. I think the tilt itself is an interested function, but I was terrified of the fact that a small drop can break it (according to the att guys. keep in mind I did not mention anything about looking for the fuze NOR do they know anything about the fuze's release). but I think it simply might just be negligence due to the user's fault. I've checked out the tilt 2 and the slider is visibly stronger than the first one. If you have the phone open and you drop it you could easily break the slide mechanism. I actually did that not 30 days after having the phone. My replacement has been dropped countless times during the 2+ years I've owned it and the only thing that's happened to it is it has a few scratches around the edge. It still slides great. I would recommend checking out http://www.lgexpo.com/ to get more info on this phone. It's more than what engadget says it is. They didn't mention that it's a 5mp camera WITH a flash, which is pretty important for most people, and they didn't mention the fingerprint reader on the front (the little gold bar) that can be used to secure the phone and act as a navigation pad for the OS. You can also use it for camera functions like zooming in and out, as well as media player functions like rewinding/fastforwarding videos/music. I chose this one over the tilt 2.

LivingNightmare

Comments on LG's pico projector-packing WinMo eXpo outed for AT&T

man, if it only didnt have that fat lump and had no projector it would be sweeeet.

*brotha

Comments on LG's pico projector-packing WinMo eXpo outed for AT&T

@(Unverified) 'plus an additional $179 should you choose to opt in on that projector.' it seems you can get it without the projector

Matt

Comments on LG's pico projector-packing WinMo eXpo outed for AT&T

Right.
