I have Google nav on a MT3G, and I have a 2 year old Garmin Nuvi. The Google app is a nice thing to have in your pocket all the time, but there is no way it is a better on-dash nav device than the Garmin... or even a Snoop Dogg equipped Tom Tom I'd guess.

It might be bettter at finding the latest destinations that aren't on my Garmin map, but the Google app only speaks the tuirns some of the time. The map isn't as easy to read while I'm driving and isn't as stable as the dedicated device. It also won't just let me turn it on and use it as moving map display of my destinationless travels, something I like to do just to display appreching street names.

I know voice search works with the nav app on the Droid, and I understand and appreciate the value added Googe to my phone, but I won't be giving away my Garmin anytime soon.
