impatient? I remember when the 1st G1 OTA took over a 8-10 days for folks to get since the announcement.

The OTA is 2 days old, talk about impatient. When you thought desktop syncing updates was a pain, OTA updates have made folks hypersensitive to features.

No real problems. When it started I did get a warning message, something about no backup found. I'm guessing that the OTA update maybe does some kind of backup before the upgrade, in case things go really wrong it can then rollback. Anyway, everything worked fine. I'd make sure your battery is charged, you don't want to lose power during something like this.
All that being said I'm not seeing any big improvements. Can you switch the clock and verizon to be centered the old way like on 2.0? The new way doesn't look good at all. The unlock button doesn't bother me even though the old way does look better. Who wants to wait on the phone while someone looks up something over 3G.
I'd argue that the Android OS handles multitasking better, and since most things that i would want to look up (like an email someone sent me, calender, notes, etc) are stored on the phone.

Oh I don't know, maybe while you're on the phone with a client you can look up something on the internet or an email they sent a verify something. That's just one example, I'm sure there's 1,000's more.
