The problem is Nokia never had a good way of delivery.<br>I have been using Nokia's since they had black and white screens and if you ever wanted ringtones, themes, apps, games, etc you only have to <br>1. Open internet browser<br>2. Search "Nokia *insert model number*" and download from  thousands of websites<br>3. Download to computer<br>4. Nokia phones are so diverse in terms of hardware and software capablities. You left out the news that it now has one million downloads a day and increasing 100% each month. He was quite pleased but admitted that there should and will be improvements. Kem's linked source at least does show that Financial Times misquoted George.<br><br>And if they had included the bit about the Ovi store reaching a million downloads a day then they would have had to include the rest of that sentence which goes on to say that Ovi is "still lagging Apple, which had accumulated 2bn downloads by September, just over a year after it launched." And all the criticism is justified.<br><br>But they seem to be getting things right lately. <br>To name few:<br>-The launch of first handset using Maemo, N900. <br>-Planned overhaul of Symbian interface<br>-New release of Qt<br>-Nokia Messaging (works for europeans at least)<br><br>So I think they are moving in the right direction... The app store is "Way too AppStore-like"?  Its supposed to be app store-like.  And I for one find that the search is good enough, I haven't had any problems. I say was because I left Nokia for Android.<br><br>Their NYC flagship store was a joke. I went in there with my N95 and they tried to shove it in a case for a different model nearly breaking it. Yes, maintaining such a large number of different devices is probably a major PITA for Nokia, not to mention R&D, but it has its own merits. What they need is a unified development platform so that the 3rd party developers don't need to target a specific device, and that's why Nokia bought Trolltech and is going for QT.
