How does this phone blow it away? Because it has the 1Ghz snap dragon CPU and an OLED screen? 2.1 isn't anything revolutionary over 2.0. The next iPhone will be out in 6 months, so comparing 6 months new tech is kind of a wash.

Oh, but apple never makes any drastic changes. If AT&T lands this phone in any kind of exclusive agreement, on top of being the only carrier for iPhone, that would be huge for them. Could be for both... wouldn't be the first time HTC has released the same phone across multiple carriers. I read the entire transcript of the twitters, etc. over at Phandroid and it didn't say anything about only working with AT&T phones just that was the only example they had.

How so? Because they only have 45 million users instead of 70 and 80 respectively?

As far as I can tell everything else in on par with varying degrees of effectiveness. For example, while AT&T may technically have better 3G coverage... at least my own will work in both SF and NY...

As for Verizon, well they're a CDMA network and that comes with it's own advantages.
