The menu, back, search, and home keys are related to phone operation when the user has to look at the screen anyway, so it makes sense to make them soft touch and keep them grouped with the screen.<br><br>But, as for the call and end keys, I use them even while not looking at the phone. e.g. pressing the call key twice calls the last person called.  This is very handy to keep attention on the road while driving. Pressing the end key ends the call and also blanks the screen when not in use. it also doubles as the power button thus obviating a separate button.<br><br>IMO, it's a phone first and that feature should not be ignored. It's only the Hero and Dream that are called the G2 and G1 respectively on T-Mobile, the Hero unlocked is still called the Hero and as far as I know the G1 was never sold unlocked and so was always called the G1 over here.<br><br>@B3astofthe3ast<br>Tbh the virtual keyboard is so good that a hardware one isn't really needed.
