All .nbh files point to 'yes']]></title><link>http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/18/t-mobile-bringing-htc-hd2-to-the-states-all-nbh-files-point-to/</link><guid isPermaLink="true">http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/18/t-mobile-bringing-htc-hd2-to-the-states-all-nbh-files-point-to/</guid><description><![CDATA[@nox327 I don't think the N900 is coming to T-Mobile. :S <br>Anyways when you do the math it is cheaper to get the phone without a contract and buy it fully than going contract to get the discount.<br><br>For example Touch Pro 2<br>Contract: $350 (Phone) + $70 * 24 (500 min (40) and Web (30)) = $2030<br><br>Sans contract:  $540 (Phone) + $55 * 24 ( Even more Plus 500 min, $30, web add-on $25) = $1860<br><br>You save around $220 for the same service and you have the benefit of not being in a contract. Let say you have money issues on your second year and you need to limit yourself as much as you can, you can do it. You go to the store with a dumphone and downgrade to only voice $30 (no ETF!)... then things get better after 6 months, you get a job back or whatever the case is... you go back to the store with the Touch Pro 2 and get the web add-on again. The beauty of sim cards is that you can pop the voice only sim on your TP2 and just go with voice and surf on WiFi. My basic Sony Ericson Feature phone(Touch Pro got stolen) has 3G. I live near DC and get 3G all across VA. I went to NYC today and 3G along the whole trip, and on top of that, its the fastest and cheapest data. So with the HD2 + T-Mobile = AWESOME phone(WinMo FTW!
