For example Touch Pro 2
Contract: $350 (Phone) + $70 * 24 (500 min (40) and Web (30)) = $2030

Sans contract: $540 (Phone) + $55 * 24 ( Even more Plus 500 min, $30, web add-on $25) = $1860

You save around $220 for the same service and you have the benefit of not being in a contract. Let say you have money issues on your second year and you need to limit yourself as much as you can, you can do it. You go to the store with a dumphone and downgrade to only voice $30 (no ETF!)... then things get better after 6 months, you get a job back or whatever the case is... you go back to the store with the Touch Pro 2 and get the web add-on again. The beauty of sim cards is that you can pop the voice only sim on your TP2 and just go with voice and surf on WiFi. How easy is it to turn off Sense? I know it's that simple with Touchflo 3d on the Pure, but I got the impression from engadget's review that Sense was wound a little tighter into WinMo and was harder to de-select.

As far as skins go, I'm happy with WinMo 6.5 default, the home screen customizer from Marketplace and HDWalls for full screen wallpapers.

A lot of the HTC WinMo phones can run Android. I'm running it right now on 2 different devices. i live in the culturally inhibited area of north new jersey. while t mobile has snappy phones and great rates there is nobody here who really gets a really great signal.

t mobile never advertizes themselves that way anyways....they are more of the "look at us we're fun cell phone company".

Well that really depends where on where you live.
