It's not another save editor. It's not an exploit from the homebrew community. Additionally, it's not something Sony can patch or block. Datel have reverse engineered PSP's protection. Like they did for GC disc's and Magicgate if you recall.

The pandora battery was a homebrew exploit that Datel then sold on. But somethings like this are not. To the user who posted that they are probably using an exploit found by the homebrew community, just take a step back and think. If they "STOLE" it from the homebrew community then why haven't we heard about this supposed exploit the PSP scene has uncovered. Datel have gone way further than anyone in the scene, instead of exploiting they have broken the protection and can now sign their own apps.

Whatever your opinion is just try to make in an informed one.

Bill32

Comments on Datel claims new Action Replay works on PSP Go, we hope cautiously

@Bill32 I just tried the demo, and it does indeed work flawlessly. This exploit has been around for ages. The PsP community is just waiting for better features to arrive on the "Go" so that it would be totally worthwhile to release. If you Google: FreePlay. You will see just one of the exploits.(that kid freeplay stole that from a group of developers and claimed it as His own) So no I don't think Datel came up with this on their own. I've been in the 'Scene' since the psp release day. Heck I even helped to find one of the original exploits so that all of us wouldn't have to keep switching memory sticks to get HB games running.
