Those things are too small... in physical size, not capacity. Then you still have to carry a microSD to SD card adapter to put it into your laptop.

I carry a microSD reader on my key ring all the time instead of a memory stick. Also I've converted all my memory card devices to microsd. I have a memory stick adapter an SD adapter and a Compact Flash adapter. Hmmmm... is that faster than using a card reader? And will programs like Photoshop Elements or Picasa be able to pull pictures off the cards over WIFI? Or just copy the pictures to your computer?

I understand how it will be cool to upload your vacation photos to Facebook while you're still on vacation using the hotel's WIFI... I just hope it's easy enough to set up an ad-hoc wireless network or whatever when you finally get home. Lord knows we don't want people to have the only copy of their photos stored online and not have a copy at home. And I can't imagine how long it would take to send giant 14MP pictures directly to Flickr all the time.

I'm using Sandisk Ultra II 15MB/s cards now, and I can transfer 1GB to my computer in less than a minute using a card reader. And it's easy!

On the one hand, it would be cool for documenting your vacation by uploading pictures on the road. I recently got a Canon S90 and the 2 dials means it's like using a very small SLR. I like Samsung products for the most part particularly their LCD panels. The only product I have really disliked was my WinMo 6.1 phone I had but I don't think any brand could help a WinMo phone.

MicroSD is great, I have spare ones from my old phone lying around.
