Actually, someone from Google said that the G1 would not get any updates past cupcake (1.5) due to internal memory limitations on the device. But that proved untrue when we were lucky enough to get an OTA update to Donut (1.6), we can only hope that we get another update on the G1. I got to mess around with the Nexus One at an ugly sweater party last night, and it was awesome. Very snappy, huge screen compared to my G1, and just an overall great feel as it's so thin. I think it's going to be a huge hit. Come to think of it, I should have just run out of the party with that thing.
