can any manufacturer please focus on a phone that is simply good at calling and sending text messages? without all the crap they put in there nowadays. a few weeks ago my good old nokia 1100 fell and the most basic and cheap replacement model I could find had a colour display and was filled with loads of crap no one ever uses anyway. it just irritates me to think about how they could save production costs (and the environment) if manufacturers would make a basic model that actually is basic. something that is good at texting and calling, nothing more or less.

cheap.
good, clear, sound quality.
sturdy.
durable, ecological, not the cheapest of all cheap plastics they use on basic models nowadays.
a black&white display (whoever invented our need for a colour display for making phone calls and texting anyway?).
long battery life.
just enough memory for around 500 contacts
flat, small, light.
simple ringtones (monophonic).

it would be nice to have, if it didn't considerably increase the price and thickness of the phone. and if it could project a good image around 2 meters far without eating too much battery.
