Don't know why you are so down-ranked. I completely agree with you. There is no more NEED for Blackberry. There are some RIM fanboyz on here! That fellow is right. What does BB offer? Back 5, 6 or even 4 years ago, BB had the market on push email, and having a coporate issued Blackberry meant you were important in your company, but, BB stick has a crappy little browser, and is not the only device that offers email. I won't say I have a great phone. I won't say it's even good. I use a UT Starcomm Shuttle. Now who's ever heard of that? Next to no one. I'd happily upgrade to a RIM device. Throw a MotoCLIQ at me, and I'll enjoy that too. Not as much. Toss a Solstice at me, or a Vu, or even an iPhone, I'm done.

It has original battery too, and can still hold a charge for days.

Yeah, stick with the Blackberry unless you have a dire need for games, web browsing, music, video, podcasts, seamless syncing etc.

The Blackberry has no useless apps.....apart from Free Staples, Berry Screen Cleaner, Fart Machine, Snapple Cap......

Not a lot of people felt jilted by the failure of the 1992 Newton. I saw one once in about '94.

One of the surprises of the USRobotics Pilot 1000/5000 (I owned a 1000 with a 128k upgrade) was the success of Graffiti. I had Apple Newton (yes, I am that old). It was a great piece of tech, but the absence of usable keyboard and focus on handwriting killed it.

Opera mini on the blackberry tour sucks too. It was ok on the storm when you could scroll with the finger

Apple has a bunch of way to manipulate their stock prices and numbers. They also dump all their iPod touches on students before they refresh them. Any device with only 8 gigs of memory is pretty much useless.

Either way, they used to cater to rich businessmen so if you want everybody in a business to adopt the technology it's a good tactic.

On another note, where do you even get the 2 for one deal?
