This is nice. Very nice. But seriously, ditch the Pre? Even Android 2.0 can't match WebOS's elegance and flexibility.

It's a decent phone that does some things well, but excels nowhere other than having a great camera. It's laggy, it's missing basic features, and does nothing to stand out from the rest of the crowd. The camera is good, until you move closer than 5 inches away from the subject you're shooting. No macro makes me a sad boy.

I'm more of a techie person. I don't need massive elegance, I need more capabilities and and the optimization. After having the Pre for months, I still feel limited, even with patches.

If you browse Precentral.net, about last week they mentioned something about Sprint changing something in their contract agreements, which means you can get out of your contract scott-free if you call customer service in January. Or something of that sort.

Ya, I know, but this thing costs $80/month, which is ridiculous when you compare to sprints pricing.
